Taste is Everything... was founded in 1992 by Chef David Larson, who brought with him fifteen years experience as a culinary professional as chef saucier at the Century Plaza Hotel; as sous chef at the prestigious Bistro Garden in Beverly Hills, and as Executive Sous Chef at Mountain Gate Country Club in Brentwood, California.
A graduate of Northwestern University , Larson was already active in the Los Angeles arts scene as a classical musician and in event planning through non-profit work for the American Scandinavian Foundation of Los Angeles. Well schooled via culinary travels, he began his professional studies in Los Angeles before being hired to work with Chef Walter Roth at the Century Plaza Hotel. While there he prepared dinners for heads of state and two U.S. presidents and was chosen to work in an exchange program with Chef Jacques La Coste from Le Caihau Restaurant in Bordeaux, France .
